Can I ask what was good about Wrights game at Sandi given he only got 16 touches as I didn't see the game...

He was named best and a lot on here have him in...

Didn't see the game either however I suspect a lot of the calls for inclusion come from the fact people rate the kid and feel he shoudn't have been dropped in the first place.

16 touches at 100% efficiency. Had a very good game, when he got ball things happened.given conditions to go at 100% is amazing!

Well you could probably argue that Newnes spot is a bit shaky based on his media stats and Stanley didn't register (literally) one stat in the first half but just like every player in team, their second half was the diametrically opposite so selections will be interesting this week. So maybe Wright was named best because of other things outside of his 16 media stats.

Exactly - That's what I'm asking about.

In: Ross, Geary

Out: Stanley, TDL

Regarding Ross - when was the last time we have had a young mid come in for a stint into the seniors then go back and knock out a couple of 30 + games.

Ledger for TDL (omit)
Geary for Roberton (inj), however if Geary is still injured Ferg or Wright depending on match ups.

And I'd love to get Ross into the side as well, but dont know who should be dropped.

Bit hard when they usually just rotate off the bench and into the midfield all day alongside the likes of Lenny and Steven?

I think the possessions come with some freedom and bursts forward?

In: (from) Geary (if recovered) Ross/Ledger, Wright, Schneider (if ready)

Out: Dennis-Lane, Roberton (concussion) maybe Newnes.

If Roberton is out, I reckon Stanley stays in....

Nah I'm talking VFL games... Ross has had a few good games possession wise since returning to the VFL...
