I thought McEvoy was poor last night and smashed in effective hit outs.
Before people jump all over me sure we won the hit outs but very few were effective IMO.

His marking was well off last night. If he cannot mark around the ground, then with him being poor in the ruck it is not a good scenario.

In his defence most couldnt mark last night and also he actually would have rucked less in the first than Hickey and much more in the second than Hickey when we got on top. By the last he was completely stuffed and needed a chop out but Hickey was subbed off by then.

The only player I saw who consistantly hold his marks was Farren.
Tried hard, just wasn't his day.

Unfortunately I think as a team we made the same mistake as last year with the PA game. That we rocked up just expecting to win.
Even the comeback in the second quarter while good in itself probably made the players complacent that they "had" the game.
Mentally too many of our players were just not "on" last night.
