Name a Saint- well nickname

searching for some suggestions.... maybe this was part of the 'Hayes' and ' 26' being called out during training on Friday..
I did suggest to someone that calling out 'Whitey' could have double meaning now.

The lasting nicknames are the ones bestowed on a player by their team-mates, as the result of a physical attribute, or something that happened with/to them. I remember in a team I played in we had two Joes, which caused confusion until one of them had his after-training beer spiked with after-shave, and was known as Brute from then on.

Another player had an accident at work that led to his little finger being amputated, which led to him being known as "Three Beers" ever since.

I can't see therefore how a name bestowed by a supporter will catch on.

they do say' best suggestion' not necesarily the one which sticks.
given most supporters would say CJ and not Whitey and few supporters have taken up calling Simpkin 'head'

I once played with a bloke who had one arm shorter than the other. He was known as "clock".

Have no idea what you are on about but ....

Anyway played with a guy whose last name was Orr. Great nickname. My turn for a guessing game.
