the Toughest Question

Post: # 1269956Post saintbrat »

heard yesterday of the a few of the weirdest questions the young men at the Combine had been asked,
the one I remember was the player was asked to ' coount backward from 100 by 7's'
but there were a few other odd ones

what would you ask- 1 question that may give you the greatest information , or the most valuable information....

Maybe a more appropriate question would be to count backwards from $1,000,000 deducting 10% for their manager?

The above is actually a bit of a different question for the testers to be asking though.

It's generally used in a questionnaire designed to assess levels of dementia... I forget what that test is called...

Strange they are using a diagnostic tool to identify possible memory deterioration in the eldely on one's so young.

That is one of the standard pre- tests for identifying memory deterioration., ie keep counting backwards from 100 by 7 until told to stop by a GP.

It's one of a number of tests done on memory in elderly, if person fail's more than 3 or 4 then they are followed up by more specialist medical intervention.

Maybe they are trying to test the young one's cognitive skills early....................... then retest them after a number of episodes of concussion later in their playing careers.................. very strange :? :? :? :?

Can u kick and hit a target under pressure, or can u kick straight b/w the goal. Can you go in hard and not shirk a contest. Can u play in the seconds if u don't play well.

What is the meaning of life?

Or, if that's too much for them:

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it does it make a sound?

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

I'd ask a scenario question.....when you are kicking for goal either set shot or on the run do you put it through the big sticks or to the side of the big sticks?
