Pushing Ben back all night...

Post: # 1236757Post SainterK »

Was a great move.

It covers a defiency in our backline in regards to height, he can take a good grab, and Kosi can cover the pinch hitting.

I reckon most of his 9 marks were in the defensive 50.

Will need him to do it again next week, chop off all the entries into Brown and Merrett.

Good move.

I thought Kosi held up okay doing more rucking than usual and both Wilkes and Siposs showed something up forward. So it was win/win

Wasn't he doing the same thing last year?

But none the less, it was a great move. It's great to have a 200cm player who can drop into the hole, and pull down strong marks all night.

With Kosi helping out the ruck, it really helps to have Wilkes in the team, as we always have at least 2 big, leading marking options when moving the ball to our forward 50. Hopefully this will mean the end of Roo being double teamed!
