Competition: Tommy Simpkin's First Goal
Simpkin - The Rock, T-Simp, Colac - has played ten games thus far for zero goals. Now obviously he plays at full back, and he's doing an excellent job, so it's unlikely he'll end up too close to the other end of the ground any time soon.
So my simple challenge is - pick when he's going to kick his first goal.
This year? Which round? Next year? Never?
The prize is a shitload of prestige.

R. 10; Q.1 Vs. Richmond F.C.
It will be one of 3 goals he enjoys for the night running of Brad Miller...whoever that is.

Re: Competition: Tommy Simpkin's First Goal
for comparison:
Spud Frawley kicked his in his 3rd game, a loss to Carlton
Maxie Hudghton kicked his in his 46th game, a loss to the Kangas
Darryl Wakelin kicked two in his 31st game, a loss to the Eagles
Sam Fisher kicked his in his 14th game, a loss to Geelong
Jamie Shanahan never kicked a goal at all, in 125 Saints games
f*** we've had some good defenders in the last thirty years!

Re: Competition: Tommy Simpkin's First Goal
He actually kicked a few goals at Sandy while playing FB. He will kick more goals than the others mentioned above.

Re: Competition: Tommy Simpkin's First Goal
I'm very disappointed in Tom, in that he hasn't kicked a couple already. When I looked at our round 9 team on Thursday evening he was our full forward. Full forwards should be kicking goals!!!
He's clearly over-rated for mine...

Re: Competition: Tommy Simpkin's First Goal
He was named at full foward this week so maybe SW wants it to be sooner rather than later.
