Spewn.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Re: Breaking news ... Stanley 4-6 weeks
Typical , just beginning to show us how good he can be .
A 6 week injury could end up derailing his whole season .
Not only suks , it swallows !!!

How long is Macca?
Can we get Jacko Ferg in the backline. Wilkes in the fwd line. And let Kosi and Blake do 50:50 job share in the ruck?

Re: Breaking news ... Stanley 4-6 weeks
It's a shame as Stanley was doing really well in the ruck against NicNat

Not sure how Ferg can play but he isnt ready anyway. And we need a forward not a backman.

Re: Breaking news ... Stanley 4-6 weeks
NicNat gave Rhys a strong shove square in the back that caused the string to tear... That sudden lunge forward was certainly how the injury occured...
Dont think he got a free for it tho...
Must've been a push to the side...

Can someone tell me the point of naming Chips 2 weeks ago? Never got that bull s*** under RL and get it even less under SW.

Having watched sandi on the weekend clarke and gwilt looked ready to play and as we've been having a few hamstring issues lately , Watters is probably playing it safe with fisher .
Snides looked zippy on the weekend , however allot of his disposals were average , a good hitout in the reserves this week would see him ready to take on the tigers next week .
This of course ain't gunna happen as sandi's next game isn't for two weeks !
So what do we do with him ?
maybe he could be the reserve , although he would have to be able to play the whole game .
Don't know if watters would pick 3 players coming back from long term injuries .

SW also said that Chips was a cert to play last week had the game been in Melbourne.plugger66 wrote:Can someone tell me the point of naming Chips 2 weeks ago? Never got that bull s*** under RL and get it even less under SW.
I didn't think Ross played those games..

Re: Breaking news ... Stanley 4-6 weeks
There was totally no point in naming Fisher that time (or saying he could have played last week in Melb) - never really cared much for that so-called mind games, or whatever.plugger66 wrote:Can someone tell me the point of naming Chips 2 weeks ago? Tough on Stanley - and the Saints. Wish they had drafted McCauley as a backup, filled in at Hawthorn for a while....

Re: Breaking news ... Stanley 4-6 weeks
Schneider starting as sub has lot merit i reckon, based on Sandy not playing for so long. Reckon its Stanley out & Gwilt in at moment. Then if any of other boys are sore or need rest Raph & Schneids come into calculations.mr six o'clock wrote:stkildathunda wrote:Here is quick recap of all the injury news from today.....

Re: Breaking news ... Stanley 4-6 weeks
Bad news for him and us.
I thought it was a pretty bad as he clutched his bum quite high.
We'll get by though, I'm sure of it.
I'd like to see Ledger come in though, and bolster the midfield a little.
Good kicks should be the priority though, as we're winning the clearances, but not maintaining possession....turnovers!

Yeah tough break for the kid he was having a solid start to the year. Gees it makes our list management look pretty ordinary doesn't it - even if they had kept Gardiner around for 1 more year they definitely needed cover from McEvoy. Hoepfully the team can take something positive out of it - Kosi may play the best footy of his career?
SAINTS another day older another day closer to the Holy Grail!

So how do they keep a guy who doesnt want to play? The cover for Ben is Stanley, Kosi and Blake. Or we could have hacks running around like Stevenson or Pattison.

No wonder everyone hates Raph. Cant even get his cliches right and turns them into spoonerisms.stkildathunda wrote:Raph Clarke has put his hand in ring to be selected with 2 standout performances in VFL in last 2 weeks since returning from injury.
He is either putting his hand up or throwing his hat in the ring.
Goodness what a dud. Sack him now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)
