A question about head high contact

Post: # 1205819Post Thinline »

For those who can see this: Why wasn't this looked at?

http://www.smartreplay.afl.com.au/?roun ... uality=med

If you can't see it, it's when GC's Tom Lynch goes head first into a head over the ball Geary in Q1 and tempers flare as a result (Goddard lost his jumper). Lynch could have done just about anything other than what he did. Contact was made (as far as I can tell). Why no MRP?

Why would it have been disregarded?

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

I think it's silly. Lynch gets off (which I agree with) but Whitecross gets offered 1 week for a slightly lenient version??? Show's how corrupted the MRP really are.
