Yes, I am getting that feeling too. Time for some ex-saints.

As long as they're good, it definitely does not...

It does not matter at all. Ppl seem to forget Laidley spent a few years ad an assistant, then head coach in Melbourne

I like not having ex-Saints in coaching positions. With St Kilda you need people who haven't been exposed to the St Kida culture--always bridesmaids, never brides. You need someone with an objective eye.

But they ARE Saints. I don't care where they've come from. If they're wearing our colours, they're one of us.

Still waiting for closure ... if you get my drift.

If they get us the cup I wouldn't care if they were all Filth life members. Where they are from will be the least thing I will be worried about.

George Young was the WA recruitment officer for St Kilda for some time...does anyone know if he's still got that role?

I dont think George is still doing the role for the saints but we do have a WA based scout who goes to WAFL games and colts games... The west Aussie flavour might be a good change for the club
