Reckon Shane Tuck just signed another contract with the Tiges.Old Mate wrote:Yeah heard the rumour that Pelchin was looking at giving Travis a second shot at AFL footy - it's been approved by the AFL as well. Shane looks GWS bound, at this stage.
Jack Newnes happy to be a Saint !!!! PS and to hit a target !!!
Last I heard was Hardwick being interviewed late in the season and when asked the question he kinda dodged it saying that his future will be decided at the end of the season. He wasn't clear either way but my first thought was it didn't look good for him.Middo wrote:Reckon Shane Tuck just signed another contract with the Tiges.Old Mate wrote:Yeah heard the rumour that Pelchin was looking at giving Travis a second shot at AFL footy - it's been approved by the AFL as well. He'd be a perfect fit GWS with their young mids Scully and Ward. I'm expecting Armo to be played more in the midfield and with Lenny coming back I don't think we have a spot for him. And do we really want another poor disposer of the footy...?
Travis still young and was a promising junior. I think he's worth a spot on the list, even just as a rookie.

The scumbag said it was the end of an era. It is.bobmurray wrote:If we want to get anywhere we need to set our sights higher than these friar Tucks....
Unless we can trade for a gun forget it. No more top ups.
It's time to concentrate on getting kids. Especially as there's now a chance we may have a coach that will use them.
I thought we played about 7-8 new guys this year.Dr Spaceman wrote:The scumbag said it was the end of an era. It is.bobmurray wrote:If we want to get anywhere we need to set our sights higher than these friar Tucks....

Of course we did plugger. But was part of that due to the desperation of the situation we found ourselves in?plugger66 wrote:I thought we played about 7-8 new guys this year.Dr Spaceman wrote:The scumbag said it was the end of an era. In any event, there was a reluctance to do so before that and there's no way of knowing what Ross would have done in the future had he stuck around.

Poor football character.......i think Ben had passed that test.....just a few runs on the board...you know, the prems, captaincy, best and fairests, brownlows, all australians, leigh matthew trophys 250 games etc....
Exactly how many runs Has travis tuck made.....
Played a handful of passable games
Turned up to training stoned, collapsed.....tested positive three times (ben never rturned a positive test).....suffered depression.....
Just a bit of baggage....which is OK as long as its worth it....he aint wortH it

Travis Tuck
Aged 24
Delisted by Hawthorn March 2011
Liston Medal 10 votes (not sure if the 12 game suspensions for 3rd strike meant he missed the first half of the season?)
I am undecided on whether this would be a positive step - all for giving 2nd chances but dont know skill levels etc which is what I would base a recruiting decision on.

The question for all trades and drafts moving forward is does this player improve a) our over all leg speed b) our field kicking c) our contested possessions d) our marketability e) our goal scoring potential ... I don't think either Tucks do that .. Even for a late pick I would rather we go for a project kid ...

Doesn't have to tick all those boxes but at least one of them ... Neither Tucks in my opinion tick any of themJunction Oval wrote:st_Trav_ofWA said in part :Gee St Trav, if you know of any players who are available, that fit all of those parameters, send them over !The question for all trades and drafts moving forward is does this player improve a) our over all leg speed b) our field kicking c) our contested possessions d) our marketability e) our goal scoring potential ...

We can't possibly be happily wanting Tuck and not wanting Fev because of his potential impact on our culture.
