Yes so very true. The one and only coach that can lay claim to being the most successful sausage this club has ever seen.

Perception is a powerful force in AFL and RL knows that, hence the reason he made his "18 points short" of a perfect season comment in his presser today. However the reality is he is at the end of a long list of failed St Kilda coaches in terms of the "ultimate success". Having said that he has laid a fantastic foundation and if the club is smart - which I think it is these days - it will exploit it and build on it. Paitence is the key as it may take some time for us to harvest the fruits from the last decade of investment. Let's also not forget what the current players of the last decade will also leave when they bow out. Culture. Lets change it.
