A 3 month get out clause is now a 6 month one!!

Post: # 1141903Post On the Ball »

Who would give a coach a 6 month get out clause?!?! So that means he could have walked out the door at about round 3. Are you kidding!!

And all of a sudden he calls himself a career coach! - first time he's ever said that!!

Blaming the match committee and assistant coaches for last weeks loss - also the first time he'd ever done that.

Announcing the retirements of 4 players - oh, that was Chris Pelchen's and the match committee's decision as well. Just tip the bucket on the rest of them.

I'm just pondering how he is going to get through the door - with his massive head!!!

If you mean Round 3 next year. Aren't we talking about the notice period - hence 6 months is more onerous than 3?

No, I meant Rnd 3 2011. If it was 6 months, he could have given notice in R3 this year. So I ask who (i.e. the club) on earth would be silly enough to agree to that!!

Contracts need termination clauses to cover all sorts of scenarios. I for one don't find it silly at all.
