Ross Lyon was a great coach yesterday but now is all of a sudden a bad coach. Luke Ball was the same. Why cant we admit he was a great coach who has let us. We have no idea of what he was offerred by either parties and unlike us he isnt emotional bound to us. Get over it and we will hopefully get an even better coach but to suggest crap like he wasnt trying becuase he was leaving is just that, crap.
Just like others who said he is staying because players were being delisted. that was crap as well.

plugger its the way people deal with the shock ... not everyone can calmly accept the recent events ... i think all of us know Ross is a great coach but it hurts to know hes left us for freo ... how bout we cut people a bit of slack while dealing with this ???

If we sacked him with a year to go on his contract, we would have to pay him out. What recourse/insurance does the club have when it's the other way around then. Ziltch.

Lyon is a snake, sen just advised lyons management group sacked lyon for dealings on his own - good riddance lyon.
Also i have on good note, lyon wasnt liked by many at st.kilda.

This is hilarious. Yep he cant coach but how come he could yesterday. Abuse him for leaving but he could coach. Allan Jeans said he doubted anyone could coach our list nto a GF. He did it twice. Anyway lets see how bad the public think he is as a coach when Freo start about 4th favourite for next years flag.

I think most of what is going on is about Ross Lyon- The Man, which right now is very different to Ross Lyon-The Coach !!
