lets see where they are after 100 games shall we?

Plenty of players have had seasons where they offered 2 goals a game. Some have had 2 seasons, very few have lasted though.

Milne is having an outstanding year.. at 2.6 goals per game he is averaging a career high.

While is 31...can't see him not playing next year...and who knows maybe several more. Father time is yet to show any negative impact on his game...and Milney is now a very smart, disciplined and well rounded player.

Schneider is now 27...so is hitting his peak years.

Siposs is ready to be groomed as a medium "third" forward....and he is the youngest player on our list = huge upside

Cripss, Ledger showed great promise....

Curren is looking likely...but needs to mass up.

And then there is Jack Steven.....what will he be doing in 2 years? I suspect alternating between midfield and FP and will in part be tying to fill Milnes boots.

True that. Armo might end up being a long-term small fwd/mid

And yet we still have supporters like 'To the Top' - who think that Milne is over rated and doesn't perform in big games. Just goes to show that you can never please everyone.

I reckon he won't need replacing for another 3 - 5 years if he can continue the form he's in . He has lost none of his pace and his body seems to be holding up alright . He's certainly a smarter footballer than he was 5 years ago , so it would be great to see him play 300 + games for the club.

This.

Everyone now and again you get a talent so special you cherish it.

Winmar, Barker, Loewe, Plugger, Milne, Riewoldt, Banger, Goddard are unique irreplaceable special players who I have had the pleasure of seeing.

ANd yes, Milne is worthy to be in that category.

As I mentioned before, players who have averaged 2 goals or more as a small forward for 100 games or more are phil matera, Jeff farmer and stevie Milne. I can't think of another.
