Whilst im sure it'll be a little helpful, Swan is hardly the player who tears us apart. Don't we usually have him playing his lowest possession games against us?

This is great news. Now all we need is for Pendlebury, Cloke, Dawes, Thomas, Didak, Davis, Tarrant and maybe a few others to get injured and I reckon we're in with a reall shot.

He certainly looked sore on the weekend.

Think his TOG has increased significantly with the new sub thing.

This news may make it more likely that I will go to the game - cold Saturday night, away game, foul-mouthed Collingwood supporters. :!:

Then again, I think that I will wait to see how we go against at Fremantle.

not sure of his source or just using his eyes But alluded to by Mike..
Six members of the 2010 premiership team were missing on Sunday - Nathan Brown, Leigh Brown, Ben Johnson, Darren Jolly, Brent Macaffer and Alan Toovey.

All bar Macaffer are in the best 22, and, as unusual as it sounds, Nathan Brown, the premiership centre half-back, is on track to play a couple of home-and-away games after a knee reconstruction in February.

On top of all that, another four or five regulars are off the boil or struggling for fitness and/or confidence.

They are skipper Nick Maxwell, club champion Dane Swan, 2010 leading goalkicker Alan Didak, rebounding defender Harry O'Brien and Dayne Beams, sixth in the best-and-fairest last year.

Maxwell may have recovered physically from a massive hit in a pre-season fixture with West Coast, but the psychological scars remain apparent.

Swan started the season in superb style, but has trailed off in the past month. He has a thigh injury, which obviously is worrying him. He is running conservatively and isn't kicking as effectively.

Didak started as the substitute on Sunday and lacked his customary polish when he came on in the third quarter. He is a confidence player and his confidence is down

Source is reliable.

Fitness test will follow right up until their game this week, but may rest.

Severity is unknown. 1 week sounds sure, 2 likely, 3 if slow recovery.

I don't understand people not wanting to go to the Collingwood game. I booked my tickets ages ago and wouldn't miss it for anything!

BTW - if we win this weekend, then knock off the Pies - BIT anyone??

Anyone who chooses not to go simply because we aren't likely to win is soft.

Support the boys.

Self diagnosed PTSD from last September has left me really reluctant to go to this game. :(

Oh ok, I can't stand the thought of having to mix with the ferals yet again.

I was hoping you were going to say Kosi and Mcqualter were out for the rest of the season.

I don't like wishing injury on any player, from any team...

You take it to a whole new, and very ordinary level, wishing for injury to our own players.
