He was OK.

Give him another game.

Has a strange shaped upper body. Loils a bit robotic in movement.

Hasn't set the world on fire however, having said that, probably has done better than most expected.

I think he will be given a bit of time as potentially he can bring something that we desperately need.

His draft mate Ryan Gamble however does not appear to have much upside and can easily be replaced by several promising young players on our list.

He has 14 more weeks to prove if he deserves to be on the list next year.

I can't say I was massively impressed, but I suppose I'm a harsh judge.

He offers us a hard, mature body that none of our exciting young kids can do, and won't be able to for some time.

He could be a keeper but it's up to Dean himself to prove his worth.

I would take 23 disposals and just one clanger in 63% of game time (with 7 score involvements (match high was 9) every week (or the equivalent stats (relatively) in more game time), thank you very much.
Even better would be fantastic.
More tackles and clearances though, please.
Polo has shown that he can play top quality footy and will hopefully play much more of it for us. The opening is there for him and hopefully he'll grab his chance and run with it.

Adds to our midfield rotations, also showed that he can kick a goal which is handy.
Will only get better the more he plays IMO, as he adapts to our game plan and gains the confidence of the more senior players.

Jesus, I could be in line for a call up! Richmond don't let duds go for no reason. Just think of the last three we have got from them.

Your skepticism may well be warranted perfectionist.

Then again, I'll see your Fiora and raise you a Rodan

I was pleased when we got him & I've been very happy with his start at the Saints. Played very inside & got a lot of clean handball feeds out to runners.

Also nice that he's had a lot of shots on goal.

Upgrade on Mqualter.

Liked his effort -keeps that up, keeps getting a game.

Would also like to seehimup the clearance/tackles.

Good call stinger.

Been quite pleased with Polo with what I've seen in his first two games. Was instrumental in the first quarter against the Hawks last week, and was solid throughout the game on Saturday. Brings a tough, competitive edge - can win a clearance and score a goal as well. Handy player to have with Lenny out.

Like this post.

He is the "perfect" Lyon player. He loves having one or two of these in the team. Attard then McQualter. Polo fits the bill and has done the job.

If he can get a few clearances and hard ball gets, I think he will find a spot in the team.

He had an interruped pre season and is playing a different style of game to the Tigers which always takes a while. Hard to make an impact first up, so i hope to see improvement over the coming weeks.

I liked his intercept and goal that put us back infront in the third qtr. I also like the reaction of his new team mates which i thought very encouraging.

Lance or James??

Looks like we all agree, a good up-grade on McQualter. Stays in.

It will be interesting to see how well he goes this week on the big Freo ground.

That describes most of our players.
