Since Quarter Time

Post: # 1074483Post Sam23 »

Most disgusting effort from a St. Kilda team that I can remember.

And i'm talking effort.

Our effort has been nowhere.

2 down they are.

2 down.

And where are we?

Why are we not running over the top of them?

As i write this we have 3 goals since quarter time.

Our star studded midfield smashed all day.

Our awesome press, sliced and diced all day.

Goddard.

Since qtr time someone forgot to turn the lights back on for the players when they came out.
It really is extraordinary that they go from looking the goods to worse than the Gold Coast in there first game.

What's the answer

?????????????

DWOODROW, the best case scenario I think is that 2011 becomes another 2007. We use the remainder of the season to fine tune some new game plan (gone are the days when we can defend 50 points, attack is the only way forward) - miss out on the finals, but use this year to prepare for a tilt at the flag next year.

The thing I don,t understand is when Saints play attacking football we kill opposition.
When the defencive mind set comes in the game goes to s***.
First qtr attack.
The next 3. Not sure

The effort after quarter time was appalling. We just looked complacent and uninterested.

It's not like we will be missing the finals by choice, but yeah, we have to see
which listed players from the Sandy regulars can add value going forward..

The list changes for 2025 have begun, always an interesting time for an avid supporter.
