Judd was being hit off the ball by every single St Kilda player who ran past him in the first 1/4. If it was BJ or Lenny we would all be carrying on about how Carlton treated them.
Fair enough for him to crack it, haven't seen the replay of what actually happened at 1/4 time, only saw it live at the game so not really sure how it all went down.

The first 30 minutes might as well have been "Judd season".
He tangled with Sam Gilbert, pushing Gilbert into the Carlton bench, sparking a scuffle, and then set alight the brawl involving up to 30 players at the break.
It began as two spotfires, one involving three Saints going at Bret Thornton, and then the more hostile confrontation unfolded after Judd pushed Gilbert, who had shoved Thornton.
At the start of the second quarter, umpire Stephen McBurney told Judd: "We'll watch the holding, but you instigated that, Chris."
Fines are sure to be handed out today.
