300 club yesterday what a great function and tour of seaford

Post: # 1049221Post saintwalsh »

I became a member of the 300 club this year. Yesterday the saints held a bbq function at Seaford for all 300 club members, it was a great day Adam Kingsley and Kosi got up and spoke. Then we watched the guys trained as we had a bbq. The guys looked very good and i have to say the facilities and the ground itself are amazing. We were able to go on a tour and see the facilities which have been buit for the players. The facilities were amazing compared to morrabin. Anyways soo far it has definately been worth paying that bit extra and joining the 300 club.

This is the sort of thing the club needs to do more of.

What a great way to include members and make them feel a part of it. Once this sort of thing was what the "social club" was about, but it has become too big.

Great work from the Saints ... what did Kingsley and Kosi say?

It was one of the best smaller functions i have attended run by the club. It made me feel part of the club especially when they took us into the new facilities. Adam Kingsley just spoke about how he is adapting into coaching, the forward line which he will be coaching saying that he is excited to have the main core of previous years plus the extra inclusions of Gamble and Gilbert coming forward this year. Kosi spoke about how is injury is coming along saying that he will most likely be back after the bye, he also told us about how his partner alysia and his baby are due on the bye weekend. And he told us how he is very impressed with Archer.
The club definately does need to do more of these functions to get the members to feel more part of the club but unfortunately with the memberships growing each year i see the difficulities in holding these functions.
