Good to hear. Can't blame them for having a geek.

Hopefully some good info went to the club re the girl.

The only real worry/issue is if they reopen the M&M case and
find anything new IMO

Well, personally, I hope that any cops caught passing info to the club are sacked from the force. And, if there's more to come out re M&M, then I hope it comes out fully and is dealt with properly, whatever the consequences for M&M or our club.

I love STKFC, but I love the rule of law far more. Anyone who thinks that a football club is more important than the rule of law should try living in a country like Libya or Iran for a few years.

M&M are ver important players. I want them to stay as we have a real
flag chance.

So you'd be happier if the case was reopened even if it meant there was a chance those players positions could be compromised?

Considering all the cheating by so many clubs to win several flags this is minor in the scheme of things.

I had to re-check the date of the first post after reading this.

Surely the barrel is empty on the M&M case. How long does it take the OPI to complete an enquiry?

Why is the issue even being raised?
Have I missed something?
Or is Channel Eddie promoting that they're going to do another 'new expose'?

What has cops checking the file of a 17 year old got to do with the M&M case?

In related news, KD is negotiating a deal with 60 Minutes. One wonders if the Saints really got anything out of the deal to pay for her accommodation until she "got her life back on track". For this pathological narcissist, "back on track" means an even longer trail of destruction.

I assume the two cases are largely unrelated (unless the same cops are involved). Why M&M are in the news again is because the OFfice of Policy Integrity has completed a report which is said to be "explosive". Such pronouncements usually turn out to be beatups, we'll have to wait and see.

Looks like this "troubled teen" is the centre of about five on-going investigations/incidents. A Burger King incident...didn't know about that one !
No wonder her file gets looked at.
For The Age to link it to the M & M furore is just wishful thinking on the reporter's part, and a little nasty.

It's an effing joke - the 'burger king' incident - she tweeted at some ungodly of the morning saying where she was, that she was passing out, and could someone call the f*cking police!!! (Most responses on twitter were that surely it is easier to dial 000 if you are that bad, rather than tweeting!) Don't think there was any 'leaking' of info there - it was broadcast for the world to see!!!

Yes 80 police officers all reporting to St Kilda Football Club.

None of them would consider feeding info to people at other clubs, or ...say...the media? It's not like there are many rumours going around.

And it's outrageous that "St Kilda" knew she'd passed out in Parkdale before it was reported. Unless one of the "journalists" she was shagging rang the club for a comment.

"sparking concerns" means no facts, but what the hell we'll report it anyway.

This story is sparking concerns that the person that wrote it did so under the influence of drugs.

*Allegedly.

There is;

The Drug charges

The charges for thieving a pr of jeans from Southland, resulting in a copper being accused of all sorts

The Burger King D&D incident

The photo thing

The sexual allegation against an afl player who may have played in both GFs, but not for us

The Nixon thing

The alleged pregnacy

What she may have seen and/or was involved in on the night of the GF replay

Is there any more?

I would think that this "busy young lady" would attract the attention of at least 80 cops who were legitimately going about their business, let alone the "sticky noses" within the force !!

Both claims in this story are troubling IMO.

The unfortunate thing is that, short of an overdose, this sl*t just won't go away.

agreed. if cops abused their position in any way then it's unacceptable. i'm glad the opi exists to follow these things up. sux if it's another pile of s*** to affect the club, but that's because it sux that the club accepted the information in the first place - if that's what happened.

It remains to be seen if the potential guilt of the police force, impacts the player/s involved anyhow.

I didn't think anyone is allowed to show her face until Thursday 22 Sept where there will be lots of previews on TFS of what will be revealed on 60 minutes on Sunday 25 Sept !!

The media couldn't show her face because she was before the courts at the time

Is no longer so

lol - Kim Duthie and Charlie Sheen are the top billing on 60 minutes.

kinda appropriate :D

As for KD. God what is all the fuss about. The way footy players and old codgers are jumping her, I thought she woyuld be a cross between Rebecca Twiggly and Jennifer Hawkins - she must have one hell of a hairy magnet cause she looks like any other bland faced teenager

Does living and working in Saudi Arabia for four and a half years count.
If you are flexible, you learn to work within the system includung laws that are not written (don't officially exist) but are enforced. Laws and international agreements that exist but the opposite is enforced.

A bit like Australia actually where to insist on justice means being prepared to risk bankruptcy at the hands of the greedy, inefficient and technically incompetent legal establishment.

Obviously lawyers love Rule of Law as it gives them an advantage over the rest of us plebs.
