I was at a bottle shop yesterday and noticed that Carlton Draught have brought out a Collingwood Slab!!

As I was letting everyone in the shop know my disgust, it was then pointed out to me that on the actual bottles it has a picture of the filth with the cup and the scores.

Has this ever been done before for other premiership teams?

As sponsors, I remember Courage putting out a range of North-related cans back in the 70's. Not sure if they actually marked their flag though

heard of someone who bought a slab- drank the beer and was then advertising the cans in the box for sale...............

That was suggested to me but I just couldn't bring myself to touch a filth coloured slab.

My Collingwood mate just brought up a slab of that beer.

Having no principals whatsover, I drank the bloody stuff and threw the cans and the packaging where it belongs - in the bin!

But - I will enjoy every mouthfull when it is our team on that can!
