New Recruit???

Post: # 1014172Post Dr Spaceman »

I wasn't really paying attention but I just heard on 60 minutes that someone by the name of MacKillop is about to become a Saint.

Recruited from Penola I believe which might be close to where we got Fish & Stanley.

Like I said I only had it going in the background but there was some talk of this MacKillop person performing miracles.

Does anyone have an info. Height, weight etc. What position does this MacKillop play? :?

Does she play in the ruck or have speed to burn through the midfield!?

If injury strikes she may be our secret weapon.

Magic voodoo Jesus miracle s***...

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Ahh, so it's a woman.

I thought it was Mary MacKillop, as in Brian "Mary" Mynott

I've heard she's good when the chips are down.

So maybe a backup defender.

My girls have done their secondary school at Mackillop College, and the girls football team is called "The Mary's".

I think her superiors were more renowned for that.

Part of the overseas recruiting experiment in Ireland the saints pioneered over a hundred years ago. Finally bore some fruit, with apologies to Tommy Walsh. She spent a bit of time with Fitzroy, I believe, then was shuffled around to several interstate clubs after being temporarily delisted by the church.

Small, but great agility and leap (aided by the aerodynamic habit). As with all true champions, she'll have to play at Centre Half Forward. Like the Doc, a small but incredibly gifted CHF with the ability to apparently perform the miraculous. Like the Doc she'll also be a St.Kilda premiership captain. Sorry Roo, you'll have to move to full forward.

I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

They were too fixated on the rookie list.
