A reminder-daylight saving starts this weekend

Post: # 1003906Post ozrulestrace »

Just a reminder that daylight saving starts this week, so clocks forward an hour Saturday night.

Don't want you all to miss the family day on Sunday by sleeping in, even though a few of us maybe hungover.

 Sadly not in backward Brisbane! Light at 4.30am in summer, dark at 7pm. We should at least have it in SEQ. Hate having to do all my phone business interstate by 4pm. Hate not having to enjoy the extra daylight time to be outdoors - walk dog/play with kids in park/eat outdoors etc Until this happens Queensland for me will never be the 'smart state.'

Hmm, I hope the bars stay open late. One less hour to fill between the end of celebratory drinks and the start of the family day.

Hang on....why end the celebratory drinks at all ?????

Has it officially been determined when Family Day actually is? Im aware of many things being changed (B&F etc) but haven't heard anything about family day....
Any thoughts ?

According to club e-mail yesterday "Our Grand Final Sunday activities have now been rescheduled to follow Saturday's Grand Final Replay. We look forward to celebrating the 2010 AFL season with you at Linen House Oval on Sunday 3rd October, with activities starting at 11am."
