Sam Gilbert had scans

Post: # 1000628Post perfectionist »

I noted on the news that Sam Gilbert was at Victoria House having scans (as was Michael Gardiner). It looked like he cramped at the end on the game, after lying down on the ground.

It has to be a slight concern at the least if they are sending him for scans !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Many players will get scans.

Often just precautionary.

He certainly hobbled off the ground

Yeah, just watched the footage after the game, he kind of walked like he had hurt his groin.

It would take a very bad injury not to play in the Grand Final.

I'm no doctor, but a local jab seems to be a good enough solution to any niggling injuries.

Obviously this would not be used if the long term health of the player was put at risk, but I assume Gilbert will be right to play.

At this stage, same goes with Gram.

IMHO

Cramp, accg to a family source.

Ran himself ragged.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Both Calves apparently.

"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....
