TV Shows and stuff?

Well while I still feel numb, I just sitting at home talking to a mate who also barracks for the saints as well.
We have spoken about the game, about next week and then we started to speak about what will be on TV this week and what functions might happen again?

Will Ch 9 do another footy show in studio 9 on Thursday night, will Ch 10 do another Before the Game. What about Grand final breakfasts and surely there wouldn't be another parade I wouldn't think.

Anyway I thought put it out there as I think it will be interesting to see what happens this week in regards to TV and functions etc

You would think it would be in the networks best interest surely. A rating busters being a Grand Final Replay !!!

apparently Collingwood have already canceled there B&F next weekend.

Only a 10% chance of another parade according to the AFL executive who was on SEN earlier. He said there would be a significant Grand Final Replay event this week but specifics are yet to be determined.

On The Couch will be on this week I think? Whereas The Footy Show, Footy Classified and Before The Game all wrapped up I think. It might be hard for the network (free to air) shows to come back for one week, although Footy Classified is only a small panel so that might be possible.

I'd think it would be easier for the Fox Sports shows to return, Thursday night AFL Teams etc.

But this is just a guess, there are so many questions this week. I feel for the players, but the supporters have been building up to today a great deal as well. I feel emotionally drained right now, and I'm not even in Victoria!

Funnily enough, on Thursday or Friday on air he said something along the lines of "Oh, not a chance. And I couldn't return anyway" when someone said to him that the Grand Final could be a draw.

I can't understand why those footy shows finished last week.
Surely the most important game to review is the GF.
Hence their final episodes should be the week after the GF.

I don't think it would be too hard for say Ch 9, they can get an audience in a heart beat. It would be just a matter of getting the guys on there. I think Ch 9 will push to put something on this Thursday night to be honest... Its massive news in Melbourne, a Grand Final replay !!!! I think they would know that it will attract massive ratings and lots of money for advertising IMO.

Apparently Garry Lyon said on triple m that they got a call from the producer from CH 9 for a footy show on Thursday. I heard that from a friend.

Finey was being interviewed on SEN on my way home and said he was talking to the producers but will more than likely come back for the week then start his annual leave next week.

I'm sure there will be a lot of busy travel agents as lots of players and club staff will have holidays booked. BJ made a joke of this in his interview too.
As we were walking back over the bridge a family of Saints fans told us they can't come next week as they were leaving for Bali - last night!!!
I'm sure there'll be a few in that situation. Last year my parents left on the Saturday after to go overseas and we joked about if it had been a draw.

Functions- AFL: have announced there will only be one major function on Friday
then game day functions
Saints are looking at interest in Game day functions.


As preciously noted the Best and fairest will in all likely hodd become a Post macth function as well
and Shane O'bree will just have to get married without them
the saints boys wont in Hong Kong next week
and maybe gardi's house will sell without him.

heard onsomewhere this morning that the Magpies best and fairest may be in December...
