Saints forward Stephen Milne will play in his second Grand Final after Essendon showed little interest in him 11 years ago.

STEPHEN Milne was renowned as a one-touch specialist at the supermarket in Cranbourne.
There was barely a fumble as he packed the shelves with eggs, milk and other groceries.

On Essendon's supplementary list, he needed a part-time job to make ends meet.

At the age of 19 so many players are feted as future superstars, but Milne was a nobody back in 1999.

It's a massive game for Milney. Kick 3 and he'll gain the respect of everyone. Of course you could say the same for a number of our players.

Nick kicks 5 and brings the Cup home, he'll probably go down as our greatest ever.
