nah im pretty excited about tomorrow, i said 3 year's ago we will win the flag in 2010..... hopefully that becomes reality.... being a long time poster on here some dont like me but we all have one thing in common, thats we barrack for a non feral team in STKILDA. and this year, is our year.
It freaks me out when you watch it. Points out how long it's been, the game seems to have had a billion rule changes since.
It's time I had a piece of footage to show the kids where they don't look at me funny when I show it. Hard for a 5 and 7 year old to get excited by B&W footage of guys playing some kind of outmoded brand of footy. I am proud of what those guys achieved but it was before I was born and I have no real memory of that era other than family legends of that day.
My era was Barker and Lockett, because they didn't get the chocolates, they never get that same adulation.
These guys can make a new history that I feel ownership over, I saw it in my lifetime. Come on 2 hours of your best footy and it's ours.
