This is the biggest joke I've ever heard.

How can the AFL approve training for one side at the MCG and not the other?

Pretty sure the Pies players opted out of an open session at the MCG, they want their prep as normal as possible.

They have decided not to train there.

But agree with your point - did we get the same offer?

When Freo came over here for that final against Geel they asked to train at the G and were refused despite the fact that half the team had never even played there.

It is just another example of the AFL's one rule for Eddie - different rule for everyone else

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

Ohh right, well the point still stands I think. How come we weren't even a chance to train there?

It would have been great!

Here you go, just thought I'd put your mind at ease on this issue

Note where Hutchison says the Saints have had the opportunity to train on the MCG for every week of the finals but knocked it back.

What I heard also.

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

I was wondering about this too.
Though Greg Hutchison, Saints football manager, has been quoted in today's paper as saying the Saints had the offer of training at the G in every week of the finals this year but due to logistics the club has declined the offer.

These threads show that people shouldnt just assume without the facts. Both sides were able to train. Both said no. No favourtisim at all. We dont have to jump at shadows all the time.
