This is award done weekly so its an opinion on a game by game basis. You say the umpires are hopeless but i would pretty sure every award has different vote getters in games.suss wrote:BJ tore that game apart with 5 and was clearly BOG. The umpires are bloody hopeless. The Players' Association award is a far better indicator of each year's best player.Richter wrote:Whilst BJ only gets one for his 5 goal game against the Dockers....
The players association may be in your opinion the best award but the players would rather a brownlow any day of the week.

Geez Plugger this constant crap support of umpires becomes tiring - trust me you won't suddenly be banished to hell for having something bad to say about anything they do. Perhaps if you did then you might not get hounded.plugger66 wrote:This is award done weekly so its an opinion on a game by game basis. B.J was clearly the best player in that game - they got it wrong. Often they get it right. It's called BALANCE.

I don't think I've ever cheered for Carlton - team or player - in my life until tonight...
I quite like how the B'low crowd are too.
No one likes Collingwood. I love that.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Mood in room is more subdued as players NOT in finals find their supply cut and behaviour monitored

Clubs not in finals should be able to enjoy themselves.
Not every player is a Fev.
Let boys be boys for once a year FFS Dimwit!
Of course, our boys are on the fizzy water!

Beats Swan by one vote. You heard it made up here first but if it is correct I heard it earlier.AnythingsPossibleSaints wrote:Judd has it in the bag. You heard it here first (unless you heard it somewhere else before this).

I'd rather Swan win it. We don't need them to be pissed off at anything and need someone to take it out on. I'd much rather he win it and they start congratulating themselves on their greatness and celebrating from tonight.wasaintsfan wrote:can we see dane swan cry like ablett????
