It didn't look like much ... but the close up of Roo's face afterwards ... Gee one of the most sickening things I have seen in football .... I can't explain it but it gave me the shivers

It was heart-in-mouth stuff, the first thing I noticed was his leg stiffen up which was very worrying... not to mention his eyes.

But it was amazing how he just willed himself out of it, and was right back in the action.

Took my brain a half second to register that he finished the match strong and I heard him interviewed post match on MMM to say "All's good"

It was an errant elbow, not the collision of bodies, not much anyone could of done about it.

kosi hit that contest as if it was an opposition player dropping in front of him, not Roo!

see the way roo dropped back for kosi in the last for how it should be done.

This incident led to the first time I have told off a kid at the footy. We had a family of Saints next to us with a dogs supporter. The kids (around 12-13 maybe) were doing the usual silly comments to each other, which is fine to ignore.

However when Roo went down and was twitching the dogs supporter said she hoped he was really hurt. Turned to her and told her off saying thats horrible and that you should never say such a thing. Others around did the same.

I felt bad afterwards but at the same time she needed to know there are some things that cross the boundary! For those few seconds when it looked like he was in real serious trouble I think its terrible for someone to cheer that, regardless of their age!

They were feral! I don't understand why they don't just support their team rather than make disgusting comments about opposition players

My only concern was that mum might get into a bit of a punch up when she confronted them!

Yeah, it was pretty sickening. Was probably KO'd for a second there. Was really really surprised the trainers let him run off like he did since in the end it's all just a game and you don't want to see ANYONE get seriously injured.

I'm of the mind that he should have at least come off and gotten checked, but there's no stopping the superstar once he's mind is set to a task.

He was, albeit a small one. Looking at the replay, the knock was to the back of his head whilst he was still in the air. At the match, I thought he may have hit his head on the ground. Clearly his brain was shaken - a few electrical impulses were sent out - a fit - but everything seemed OK. I suppose they will send him for an MRI.
