Traianidis ends on-field career on high note Jason Traianidis capped off a stellar football career in the best possible way at Strathmerton on Saturday.
Not only did he play in Shepparton East's premiership, he was also adjudged best on ground for his devastating eight-goal haul at full-forward.

The remarkable game ends a remarkable career that has taken Traianidis from stints at Shepparton United, Shepparton Swans, Tallygaroopna and, most significantly, a five-year run at AFL club St Kilda from 1996-2001 that saw him kick 36 goals from 62 games.

Was that a drop kick or just a drop punt where he allowed the ball to drop really low?
