Graphical statistics of a few players in last night's game.
Lenny Hayes
Mr consistency. Dominant from siren to siren. The only time he went missing was when he was busted open! Whether in the dry or wet, Hayes just oozes class above most in the competitin. Whenever there was a 50-50 ball to be won, Hayes was always the one to come out on top or at least create a contest. As important as Rooey.
Peake
Just kept on giving. Peake was a standout in that second term along with Milne. He's improved steadily over the last two months and tonight he delivered his best game for the club. The Peake of round one and the Peake of last night is almost day and night. Hopefully he can continue continue improving and be a solid contributor next season.
Ablett v Jones
Jones did well to shut him down when Geelong were at their best and when we needed it most. Controlling Ablett was the first step to controlling the onslaught and thankfully Jones took care of that. Jones not only ran with him, but he also knew when to run off him, something he lacked last year. Jones at his best is going to help us get one step closer to the cup.
Kosi v Scarlett
Doesn't look too good, but Kosi's role in the first half was crucial in establishing that solid lead. He overpowered Scarlett in the first quarter and minimized Scarlett's impact in the first half. Once it started pouring, Kosi was always going to struggle and while Scarlett did lift, he didn't have the usual output that you would expect from him.
Any thoughts?

Great work sRaf
Agree Jones was an unsung hero for us.
Lenny is ... well he's Lenny.
Thought Dal deserves special praise as well.

When did Kosi get injured. He played the whole game. Kosi started great but Scarlett finished better due to Kosi blowing up and the wet conditions.SainterK wrote:Scarlett IMO, is going to be like Harry Taylor in the GF, and a lot of credit given to him because of circumstances. Kosi was injured in the second, looking forward to them meeting again. It was not about Kosi switching off, or Scarlett getting the ascendency...
Oh? Thought the injury report from the Saints room straight after the game said he re-injured his calf in the second.plugger66 wrote:When did Kosi get injured. He played the whole game. Well if he did we have poor medical staff and he played 82% of game time.SainterK wrote:Oh? As requested:
Dal Santo
Goddard
(Look at that second quarter!)
Both Dal and Goddard's longest period without a touch was in the last quarter, when that Geelong onslaught was taking place. Guess this also reflects Ling's impact, considering he shifted off Dal Santo and onto Goddard in the second half.
Btw, these graphs are all from my site. It's usually a Dreamteam site (like FanFooty), but I changed it to view disposals instead of Dreamteam scores for the finals. If you guys want to see the graphs for others, they're here:
http://dream-stats.com/dt/statsfinals.w ... 23&match=1
(click on that little icon to the left of the player's names).
I have data for every half minute of the game, so if you want me to make another graph of some type, I'd be more than happy to.

You my good sir are a legend! ThankssRaf wrote:Hmm, never tried something like this before. I'll have to do a bit of coding, but I'll be back in an hourBuckets wrote:Hey sRAf
Are you able to do that for the free kicks? Just interested to see the spread of the 16-16 free kick count.
Thats Mr. Smartarse to you
Hmm, you might want to make that another hourBuckets wrote:You my good sir are a legend! ThankssRaf wrote:Hmm, never tried something like this before. I'll have to do a bit of coding, but I'll be back in an hourBuckets wrote:Hey sRAf

I'm getting there, but programming the graph was a bit harder than I thought.
I support this. Keep up the good work!sRaf wrote:Hmm, you might want to make that another hourBuckets wrote:You my good sir are a legend! ThankssRaf wrote:Hmm, never tried something like this before. I'll have to do a bit of coding, but I'll be back in an hourBuckets wrote:Hey sRAf

or did the frees follow game styles in dry then wet conditions? (end of the 3rd)Life Long Saint wrote:Or did the scoring follow the frees?plugger66 wrote:So the frees followed the scoring. Makes sense in a tight finals game.sRaf wrote:

Well that was fun. The script works with any statistics. Any other requests before the game starts?
