GAWN....

Had a chance to go for the ball and dropped his rear into a blokes head.

Didn't do much damage but he did have another option.

While Chapman can receive a one-game suspension reduced to a reprimand by pleading guilty today, he joins teammates Matthew Scarlett, Corey Enright, James Podsiadly, Cameron Mooney and Steve Johnson, who will all carry sizeable demerit points totals through September
do we know anyone at the Eagles- rd 22 for Cats- vs eagles to get a few more....

As far as the Saints are concerned it is a non-issue. He is a spud to our defence.

James Podsiadly, Geelong Cats, has accepted a reprimand and 60 points towards his future record for striking Will Schofield, West Coast, during the second quarter of the Round 11 match between the Geelong Cats and West Coast, played at Subiaco on Saturday June 5, 2010.

From Bigfooty froma Cats fan:

It was obviously high and reckless would be a reasonable assessment so the penalty will come down to the impact rating. Medium and he can get 2 with an early plea, high and it is 3.
Considering Gibbs wasn't injured you would think that medium would be appropriate.

Then again the raffle that is the MRP could throw up anything

EDIT: Dr Smooth just said that Gibbs does have a sore neck so 3 is probably more likely now

two weeks is a big penalty given it means a week's suspension during the finals.

That's all he'll get, even with the points, due to finals being so close.

Personally, I get the feeling this tribunal system makes the points fit their gut feel of what the punishment should be. So I won't be at all surprised if the points wind up at two weeks down to one with an early plea.

I used the MRP's own model and came up with 3 weeks, I put the numbers 0 to 10 in a hat and pulled out number 3. (not to be confused with the MRP's St Kilda model where the numbers 0,1 and 2 are removed)
