Saints fans will be delighted to know that adding to the amazing list of talent who have re-signed is promising ruckman Ben McEvoy, tall forward Rhys Stanley, tough midfielder Jack Steven and West Australian youngster Alistair Smith, who are the latest exciting crop of players to have put pen to paper.
Note, no Armo has re-signed, that's a sure sign he has signed to GC isnt it?

Yes.

From club email:

"Names synomonous with Saints Footy, including Hayes, Dal Santo, Gram, Goddard, Montagna, Koschitzke, Baker, Blake, Schneider and Gwilt, have all re-signed with the Club."

Out of the players we really need to keep, I think we have just about got everyone.

I must admit I thought that this year might be our swansong near the top of the ladder with the all to familiar slide to the bottom to come after the two new sides enter,,,,,,, however todays announcement that so many quality players have committed for the foreseeable future gives renewed hope and then vision for the future with the likes of young talent such as Jack, Rhys and Alistair. It shows the club has strength from the CEO down and we are on the same page - we will deliver that flag, I just know it.

It isn' t a secret that Geelong has maintained longevity due to players banding together - even some taking substantial cuts to keep the group together. Grablett, you are a disgrace to your team! Anyway, enough about them, but I can see that we have done a similar thing with our group.

All credit to our lads, and don't stop until that damn silverware adorns our mantlepiece!

Why is Gary Ablett a disgrace to the team?

Firstly he hasnt gone even though I think he will. Secondly he has helped win 2 flags and due to a long contract has been underpaid for at least 3 years and finally he, if the papers are to be believed will get an one million per year more compared to what he gets now. He would be a disgrace to his future family if he didnt go after helping Geelong for the last few years.

"including 6 of the top 10 b+f from 2009."
Who's missing?
Have they signed something else before?
Who do you think this list might be implying is leaving?

(My glass is still 60% full on this news though.)

Bloody hell. Surely GAB's done enough to do whatever the hell he likes?

Farren ain't going anywhere.

Armo is looking almost certain I just wonder if the GC will have gone a tad cold on him after this season, form and injury wise? Doubt it though. Think Armo is gaaaawnn....

Hope Milney is a formality too. He bleeds red, white and black so you would assume so.

I dont think armo would have signed at the start of the year because he was realitivelg unknown. Might just be waiting till the end of the year to get a better deal.... Much like lake last year.
