MId Season Rookie Promotions

Has any club used the new rule to promote a rookie at mid-season?

no point in us doing so unless they were a really god chance of playing..otherwise just wastes money..

Is Miles a rookie or is he now on the main playing list this year? I've seen his name popping up in the best players in Sandy the last few weeks

No reason to promote anyone at the moment and it doesn't matter about mid season promotion, as Jesse Smith is a long term injury.

They are not promotions to the senior list.
They remain rookies but become a "Nominated Rookie" and as such eligible for senior selection.

Is there any point in us putting JWS on the LTI? I thought the only thing to come of it was being able to promote a rookie. And we haven't done that yet?

...and we have been able to elevate one all season, as Hayes the only veteran outside the list.

So we have three spots on the list for rookies to be elevated, if we wanted.

With Bakes out for the rest of the Home and Away Season, I thought it would be a good time to try out young Simpkin as a defender. He has been very consistent over the last two years.

But whose spot will he take? If he wont play senior footy, no point promoting him.
