Australia's Sporting tribunals greatest ever injustice !

Post: # 950223Post WinnersOnly »

Greatest injustice in Australian Sport tribunals - ever!

Time to stand up and be counted St Kilda FC ! It is time to have these corrupted decisions tested in the courts.

Considering past precedents there is no way Bakers misdemeanours justified such harsh penalties.

If the Club doesn't respond to this, then they may as well pack up their bags and leave the AFL as they will forever be the AFL's bunnies.

Where was the defensive media stance by the club when Baker was getting crucified by the media over the weekend. Lame duck - head in the sand stuff by the club I am afraid.

Been said throughout the forum since yesterday and if the club have not got the message yet, then as a club we will continue to be treated as the poor relation in the AFL system.

Make a STAND St Kilda FC.

Bakes is guilty of every charge. That is a fact.
The penalty is exaggerated because of the injustice of the Farmer incident, three years ago, when Kenny Sheldon stuffed up badly.

Get over it, he'll be back for the finals.

It's not the worst injustice actually.

In the Sydney Shute shield, rugby union for those of you who don't know, there was a gentlemen by the name of Eric Baica. He played over 200 first grade games for Warringah and was never before the tribunal. Then he got a 12 week suspension about 6 years ago. His offense, he called the referee "a Goose" when he was sent off for a punch that his teammate threw not him. He was cleared of the punch as the linesman said it was not him that threw the punch but was found guilty of abuse. The tribuanl said they took his good record into account when handing down his sentence.

Just wanted to put things in perspective.
