Thankfully the public's reaction is irrelevant to the AFL. The media's reaction gives us some hope.

A lot of Footy people,journo'e etc are saying the penalty is excessive.

They will all be bitching when in an attempt to show how unbiased they are they suspend a few superstars for trivial things. Judd will touch some ones jumper and get 14 weeks, Ablett will be pinged for holding the ball for the first time and the AFL will be inundated will knuckle-draggers wanting to purge the system.

It's because the majority doesn't follow st kilda and wants to see us fail. Deep down they all know that 12 weeks for that is an absolute crock.

I could ramble on and on about how much I dislike the decision and everything but simply, we need the MRP gone and replaced with the old system. I've believed for a long time it is a joke of a system and we should not be using it. Time to give it the flick.

I know it'll never happen but it would be nice and it really is what should happen.
