Best game seen from him hands down, kept his feet, decisive under pressure, picked the ball up clean, ran straight and hard. Top game Fuzz!!!

+1 to this. Had a ripper of a game running off half back when Gilbert was down. Really shows the flexibility in our back 6. Dawson might struggle to get back into this team, the way we've played the last few weeks...

Unbelieveable game.
Had some friends in the backline.
Thought the Fish was superb and Gilbo particularly early.
Some of the lesser lights had a huge impact tonight.
Thought Mini did some crucial things in our forward line in the second half.

Gwilt was amazing, but a wonderful performance by the whole backline: Fisher, Gilbert, Blake, Baker, Dempster (great in the second half).

This is spot on. With Gilbo and Gwilt providing the run, Blake and Fisher playing tight defence, Dawson may stuggle to get back in.

The fact it was against Geelong as well.

Amazing transformation, nothing short of it.

Jimmy G. Peake. Steven. Geary. McEvoy. Jones. Ray.

That's why.

Rise up St Kilda. Tonight was the night.

Best in a long time.

Now consolidate.

Shore up top 8, then work.

pretty different player.

great game though. to illustrate, he played on podsiadly the entire night. keep in mind that geelong had 52 inside 50s and players the calibre of ablett, bartel, selwood etc were pumping it in. this was the result:

Posdiadly: 4 kicks, 3 handballs, 57% efficiency, 2 marks, 3 tackles, 2 inside 50s, 0 score, 24 supercoach

on the other hand, jimmy did ok himself:

Gwilt: 18 kicks, 9 handballs, 93% efficiency, 7 marks, 1 tackle, 2 inside 50s, 122 supercoach

he made pods look vfl standard.

I was concerned the 'new run' would be lost with Raph out, but great to see there's guys out there willing to step up. Imagine the improvement we've got left if all the '09 Gwilt types rose to the challenge!?! 8-)
