Kossie's best game thus far?

Post: # 941231Post sainterinsydney »

I felt Kossie played really well today. He didn't look slow and was clunking some good marks. I think he could definitely be working into some form. We will need him playing well against the Cats.

Definitely.

And did anyone notice that he is not able to be double teamed at the moment. Reason? Stanley IMO

Kosi's best game, some strong marks, and good contests.
Hopefully Scarlett wont be fit by Friday week.

Been working really hard, so it was only a matter of time. Even his harshest critics could not question his workrate, he really seemed everywhere.

Also thought he contributed to a lot of goals today, really brought other players into the game.

Nice to see him smiling when chairing off Milney.

He looked dangerous at times.

Finally seemed to have the work ethic.

Great to see.

Very good effort by the big guy today. Ran out of puff in the last quarter though.

Yep
there's another post somewhere tonight and BigRed was onto him , and I added at half time that I recon Koz was on the verge of breaking the game open for us

He had a big hand in our win tonight and I couldn't be happier for the boy
and all his knockers can eat the proverbial excrement

Yep, the most pleasinjg thing about Kosi's effort the last couple of weeks has been that he seems to be a lot more committed and is enjoying himself out there - two weeks ago, he simply looked like he didn't want to be out there.

He looked good to day and was wrapt with his efforts - presented really well.

Once again I noticed that he looks quite comfortable up the ground also setting up play.......and thought he gave us something in the ruck.

The key with this bloke is to just get him in the game - and not let him stagnate.

Maybe they're so HUGE. More to hurt and for longer.

Yes, strong game, more than 17 poss, and he could have easily received a couple of free kicks

Guess you won't hear too much from those who wanted Kosi tipped out

Well, there have been many, many reasons for him to go back to Sandy for a couple of weeks....to find that form. I've been on his back since his second game in the preseason.

Was great to see that game.

Hope they don't rub him out for a week now.

I dont think "smarts" is the right word for it - I used to be a catcher in baseball and I tell you it doesnt smart, it #$%ing well hurts like hell and I dont wish it on anyone.

Takes more than a few minutes to settle down - espeically if you're not wearing a protector in that area.

Could see his confidence rising as the game went on, not sure how many possesions, but I reckon he took 4 or 5 contested marks, great to see.

agree. he's at his best floating into the forward line rather than being the main marking target.

it is not a high percentage play to go to him too often in the forward line when he is up against the opposition's best defender.

it was kosi's best game for the year and i've never questioned his effort or courage ... just his lack of impact on the scoreboard.

with one effective key forward we could just about have blown them away by half time.

I've got an eighteen month old grandson and he seems to have a radar, so the answer is yes.

Solid game from Kosi.
But should have nailed that set shot on the angle.

So you go and play AFL football after your grandson has punched you in the nuts?

I'd say you would sit down for half an hour

As for Kosi, good work big fella, presented really well, and should have been given at least two free kicks for blatant holding and the worst missed arm chop of the season in the finals quarter.

Even Jackovich couldn't believe it.

Stanley was a waste of space today.

Lance or James??

Ran Grover out of puff well before that.
