geary,Mcqualter out in Armo,steven
Bring in Armo and steven both are tough and kick goals and we need as many ways to score as possible.
Both are very good tacklers and get the hard ball carnt all be left to king Lenny to do all the work.

Pet hate of mine re these shoot from the hip selection statements !
And nothing again st the poster of the OP other than maybe encourage to offer us more of what's on their mind
But if you want to shoot from the hip like that ...at least give us some OUTS as well , and some kind of logical explanation as to why for goodness sake!
Then at lest we have a bit of a handle on where your coming from
Blokes Like Armo and Stevo get dropped/rested for a multitude of reasons ....fitness, team rules , game match-ups, etc , and we are never really in the full picture as mere supporters. and perhaps rightfully so!
Also it can be very much a matter of team balance re the game-plan for the up-coming opponent , in this case the Crows
Hopefully those that make these decisions on a week by week basis for our club come with a much broader picture of what is going on than us mere fanatical supporters AND know what they are on about ...and I think that so far this year we are still going forward in terms of player development , especially when you look at the wider picture, which of course primarally concerns covering the temporary loss of No12
Some blame ie horse for courses, and match-ups with the opposition
Just a pet beef of mine and I'm not getting stuck into the OP 'ster but if you have got ang selection suggestions you really have to try and justify then in terms of OUTS as well as inclusions and WHY!

As a humble supporter, I'd also be happy to see Jack in this week and I was surprised that he didn't play on the weekend. I'd have much preferred to have seen him out there, on the wide expanses of Subi, than Mini, who had another very ordinary performance.
Steven adds real spark and extra speed, which we generally lack.
I agree that Geary didn't add much on the weekend, but it's pretty hard to do so from two states away (if he didn't go over), or from the grandstand, so I'll excuse him that. I'd also rather have seen him play against West Coast than Mini.
I'm not sure Adelaide are as renowned for their speed (life is far too short to watch them play, unless they're playing us), so if they're not that quick I wouldn't be surprised to see Armo back in.

Geary did absolutely nothing wrong on the weekend. No clangers, no turnovers, solid performance.

Ditto that. He was a magnificent player. How would it be being able to slot him into our team right now (if George was back in his prime years that is!!!) He would take us to that flag. Nick Riewoldt and George Young across the Half forward line..... moist...PJ wrote:Magic player - one of my favourites as a little tacker watching the saints.Don't drop Young!! I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

Six goals against Essendon in a final at Waverley from a HFF. Magical.
