I know they got an good in and under player with ordinary skills who until 10 weeks ago was adored by a certain club but once he realised he mightnt get a game he decided to leave as any normal person would. Congratulations on a fantastic season. We note your request for more money but unfortunately we have no more money in the salary cap. The reason for this is we are setting aside half a million dollars so that Luke Ball doesn't go to Melbourne. We know that's more than he's worth and we aren't going to pay him that much but when you are rorting the system there are some sacrifices we all have to make.
Please make Luke welcome and try to ignore the fact that he is the reason that we couldn't give you a pay rise.
