Time Trial
Heard on the jungle drum that the first three place getters in Fridays 3km time trial were Dempster, Eddy & Geary in that order. Don't have any details of other results.
Does anyone else have any info?

He is very quick and got great endurance... I think he will be a lock in first 22 next year can play anywhere just needs to work on shots at goal too...
I think you're right on there...
ACL take two years to come back from......I year to play, the next to regain form!

Can I ask a source?
Cos that if awesome if true!!!!!!
Armo set himself to step up in 2009. Was really getting good reports coming into the season.Quixote wrote:Very encouraging news RE Armo. Also, I found RL's comment last week, stating Armo is a 'clearance animal, endurance beast' to indicate he's going to back the kid in 2010 in the post-Ball era.
Balance in the team meant that the likes of Eddy and Geary got gigs ahead of him.
With Ball gone, the time is nigh for Armo to step up in 2010. One more season in the magoos would have done him no harm, and he will be absolutely raring to go.
Lance or James??

I agree great news. Hopefully with Ball moving on, it's given armo the incentive he needs (not that he would have needed much) in terms of knowing there is a spot open for him next year - he just has to take it.
How good would it be if he became as good as Ball (who by the end was a solid player, w/o being brilliant) but 3-4 years younger w/o the injury problems.

The "endurance beast" quote from RL is a great sign. Theres always been a little question mark over Armo's committment to reallllly hard work on the track which has perhaps hindered his progress a little, combined with trying to break into a side than won 20/22.Quixote wrote:Very encouraging news RE Armo. RL wouldnt call him that if he didnt think he's really turned the corner in that area. Great news

I can't allow myself to get too excitied, I remember last season when there were some Pre Season pics going around and Armo looked like he was just about the most cut player in the league...
I need to see some form on the field first...
But i am expecting 25 games from Armo in 2010...
