No mention of Goose. So I guess he either signs the contract they've offered him, or nominates for the draft.

So added to the retirements/tradings..

we lose off the senior list Max, Allen, X, Begley and Connors.

And gain Lovett and Peake.

Which means we need to draft 3 players... sounds about right.

No more delistings and no participation in PSD, as a) we can't afford and b) too deep in that draft to compete with clubs I dare say.

Will depend what happens will Ball and Goose I guess. If they leave, then we will have more picks to use.

They can still delist for a bit yet...

And Ball is still in play yet as to whether he will be with us or not.

We still have to finalise our rookie elevations and veterans list. There are still at least two players on our list out of contract.

Still early days yet.

Have until months end to finalise list so expect more changes to come yet based on variables - Ball, Goose (contract offer), other player developments etc.

Would expect scrutiny to come on
L Fisher
B Howard

This obviously isn't final, as Luke Miles can't be retained on the rookie list.

I'd expect to see one more delisting from the senior list so that Miles and Dawson can both be promoted, along with two draft picks, one new, one recycled.

Who's the remaining delisting, then? Luke Ball, I guess. Or if Ball by some miracle decides to stay then Leigh Fisher might be the unlucky one.

Ah, OK, I think I see now. I thought he was too old even for this, but they're now allowing up to two mature-age rookies, which would definitely cover him. Thanks!

Really surprised to see Leigh Fisher survive.... I guess he's probably a bit better than what we would get at pick 70 something tho...

There will be one maybe 2 more delistings before the due date. I think it will depend on Bally. If he goes then that may be it otherwise Fisher or Goose may go.

No the promotion of Dawson and Miles only leaves two vacancies on the combined senior list and veterans not on the list.

We had 39, the promotions make 41, 5 retirements, delistings and trades out make 36, 2 trades in make 38, leaving 2 picks to make 40 senior and veterans not on list.

These delistings leave 2 places on the senior and veterans list assuming Miles and Dawson are both permanently promoted.
That's picks 32 and 60 in the National Draft (worth 48 & 90 in an uncompromised draft)

It leaves 2 former NSW scholarship rookies places which should be occupied by the pre selection of Ted Widner and Josh Duncan.

It further leaves 3 normal rookie vacancies one of which will go in the pre selection of Tommy Walsh.
That's rookie picks 20 and 36 if I am right in Gold Coast getting the first 5 rookie picks this year.
