Question about instalment plan from last year?

Post: # 849148Post saintfreddy »

Hi

I received a text from St K FC saying that my next payment will be taken out shortly (October).

I've forgotten whether this will be the last installment payment taken out for my memberships from last year? Can anyone remember when it finished by any chance? Will the payment this month mean my memberships are now paid for from last year?

I think the text was basically about that next years will start automatically UNLESS you contact them.

I was of the same opinion as you saintfreddy & I think that next years will start in December. I get the text every month.

Immaterial, unless you are one of the unmentionable few who will not be continueing with membership next year.

As a true Sainter, you will realise that not even death will mean you cease to be a member..... you need to present your current membership card to both the Ferryman and St Peter to pass through the pearly gates to your reserved seat in the hereafter.

We should get a renewal letter soon now that the last payments have gone through. From memory, last year we got the letter in late October and then you had a period of time (either 14 or 28 days can't remember which) to contact if you want to cancel, and if they don't hear from you it rolls over to the next year. Last year they rolled mine over - but rolled my son's from a normal squadron with s/c to a country squadron with s/c. I didn't realise the issue until I got the pack and it had the wrong stuff in it. Luckily I queried it as otherwise he wouldn't have been able to get his GF ticket. So this year I will be ringing up to confirm all the details, just to be sure.

I get my membership taken out every month but have never recieved a text telling me about it

I'm with Optus, but maybe you've been a good boy. Mine is deducted from a debit card which may or may not always have the funds available.

I'm with Telstra and I only started receiving those texts for the last few instalments.

But it is handy, just to make sure the credit card isn't over the limit

My Mum and I have a pact (not that it was ever in question). No matter what is happening in our lives, we will ALWAYS be members.

it's worth checking your ' Saints account" information section
and ensure all the boxes you do and don't want ticked are there
http://www.saints.com.au/Membership/tab ... fault.aspx

under e-mail preferances is abox for SMS alerts for St Kilda info

alternatively Ring membership and ask for your primary information to be delivered by SMS to mobile

check your mobile is listed

NOW is probably as good a time as any to contact membership as they prepare for new roll out of information.
