I'm usually against older recruits, but Wojcinski surprised me at being 29yo.

I'd consider him with a lower draft pick, as I think he'd have a couple of good years in him and he could be quite damaging.

He has pace to burn.

How old is he compared to Lovett?

I'd get him over Lovett if we used a low draft pick, rather than giving 16 to Essendon for Lovett + a player.

More than handy but it would have to be a very low pick at that age.

dont really need another half back.
plenty of those around and wojak only sounds good because hes been at geelong. no better than gram or gilbert or fisher or goddard.

lovett is a good fit because he has that pace, but he can slot in anywhere from half back to forward pocket. hes not huge, but he has good strength, can shrug a tackle, run like the wind and can snag a goal or two. doesnt mind a tackle every know and then either.
is two (or more?) years younger than wojak.

no to wojak - yes to lovett.

If we didn't happen to land Lovett, I'd be interested in Wojak for sure (for a fairly low draft pick). Most of the guys that play down back for us are much bigger than him and no-where near as quick.
He could be really damaging, bursting out of our backline at warp speed, although it's hard to see him pushing any of our current back 6 out of a spot, especially after Baker's outstanding late season form.

no, there is no place for him in our team. imo better to take a late draft pick with pace and see what happens.

Lovett is 26. Don't mind Wojo, but at 29 he's getting a bit long in the tooth...3rd round pick in trade?

I just can't see Geelong trading Wojak to the Saints. Why would they want to give their biggest rival a much needed injection of pace? Our only chance at Wojak would be via the PSD if he's delisted.
