Kosi B&F?

Post: # 840393Post Winmarvellous »

Just wondering if Kosi has ever finished in our top 10 at the B&F? I really think he needs to lift this season if we're gonna go all the way. He was a top 2 pick after all.

Kosi's last part of the season including the finals was disappointing which is a real pity as he has shown a lot of promise but didn't deliver when it counted. Roo just played his heart out all year.

I don't remember Kosi ever making a top ten finish in our B&F.
Makes me wonder why he is thought of so highly when we talk about players vital to the fight for premiership glory.
This guy is an ordinary player and history says so.
OK he had a reasonable year this time around with 48 goals, but when the big time presented itself, he was no where to be seen, again.
So don't get upset when his name is mentioned in possible trade talks. To lose Kosi would not be the end of the world. Maybe a new beginning.

If you think Kosi is an ordinary player you don't understand the game. He is critically important to our structure and had a good season this year. Kicked over 4 in a game a few times from memory

Totally agree - makes the contest and is being played in correct position.

Would like to see who else here has kicked 48 goals in the AFL season - pffft, Kosi's previous best is 30 in a season.

His disposals were slightly down, marks up, and out of 171 career goals, he got 48 of them this year.

Are you guys serious even questioning him?

He's a keeper.

Pity he did nothing last week, when we needed him to stand up.

Pity a few didn't BS.

Alas, all we can say is "bring on 2010".

Differing opinions are worthwhile. Because you don't agree, it doesn't mean the other person doesn't understand football. I don't think that is a necessary comment, because the other poster might say exactly the same about you! I think Kosi has had a good season but would love him to be at that elite level. All the same, I can't see him ever being placed on the trade table by Lyon.

Pity it rained all day, so he didn't get that opportunity.

(did you miss that goal he kicked in the 2nd quarter Bernard?) Looked quite dangerous in the 1st quarter when it wasn't raining.

I'm not questioning his importance to our structure, it just suprises me he's only finished in the top 10 at our club once since he's been there. He has the tools, perhaps needs more consistency. Let us down at the pointy end of the season, and hopefully comes back breathing fire (if he comes back at all).

When I first joined this forum, it was all about trading Dal and Kosi....both who have been vital to this year.

Now people are running out patience with players like X, Ball and Goose, yet their improvement and lucky breaks may be just around the corner as well.

We have the club, that gets the best out of people....2010 will be another step up, you just wait and see!
