hudghton: legend

the way he spoke on announcing his retirement today at the family day shows what a great clubman he has been.

very sad for the bloke that, if he was not to be involved, we couldn't bring it home for him.

i hope the club keeps him close, always.

He is definitely a legend. An absolute champion.
Like Harves, he will always be a Saint, no matter where he may go or what he may do.
Thanks Maxi. Good luck in whatever you may do. We love you.

Love ya Maxie. When it became apparent that you weren't likely to be picked, I lost a significant amount of interest in our hunt for the flag. I reckon that says a lot about what you mean/meant to our club.

Max was a star. Will remember him as being a great defender. Yet how you can lose interest in us winning a premiership is lost on me. As Max said himself the club is bigger than the individual.

I knew what he was going to say as soon as he rushed over to Michael Roberts but I still didn't want to hear it.

Good bye, good luck, we will miss you Maxie.
