A final thought...

It's the day before grand final day.

Can't sleep. Can't eat.

History and immortality beckon, but pain trails it all the way to the final siren. The visceral memories of players past and present coagulate to form a corporeal figure of belief and determination. It's not just a game. It's something much bigger than that.

This is it. 21 hours until the bounce. It comes down to 4 quarters of football and the passion and drive to create a history. Maybe not a big one, maybe not world changing. But for some, for a very select and very fortunate few, life changing. I've waited 33 years for a moment. Many more have waited even longer. But this is a moment that may never happen again, and maybe not even tomorrow, but I believe.

I truly believe.
