Well done Farren Ray-pledge your support

Post: # 832219Post Milan Faletic »

Twelve months ago he could have imagined watching not only St Kilda from the sidelines, but could have been watching the Bulldogs playing St Kilda in the 2009 Preliminary Final.

Twelve months later, his ex-teammates are watching him do something that they have not been able to achieve in nearly 50 years...play in a Grand Final.

Not only that, but he is one of only two players to play all 24 games. He has grabbed his opportunity by the scruff of the neck and he has a chance to be a great story in a part of history. Relax and enjoy the game, Farren. We are all behind you.

Well done Farren.

The time is right for you to light up a James Kelly or Wojo Farren, take it and finish off a great first year for the Saints.

Well done Ray. Liked you during your time at the doggies. Was stoked when you became a Saint! Good luck in your 100th game.

Farren Ray is one of the most improved players in the comp this year. I would like to think that the environment he found himself in played a major part in this

GO FARREN !!

GO SAINTS !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

as the ray Club has done publicly
A band of devoted Saints followers from Perth - self-described "Western Saints", also known as the Farren Ray fan club - will watch the game from up in the Gods at the MCG.

"He's a Perth boy," they explained, pointing to the Ray badges pinned to their Saints caps.

The fans who met on the internet watch every game of the season together at a Perth pub.

One of their number, Loris Knight, witnessed the Saints' last premiership.

"I was there in `66," she beamed.

"Of course we'll win tomorrow - by about three goals."

Fray train. Your ex team mate, Robert Murphy just tipped you to win the Norm Smith. Hey mate. You are on the ground so you can win it.

I saw Bob Murphy pick him for the Norm Smith too. They miss him.

Farren's strengths now are what were his weaknesses when he arrived. That shows he has put in a tremendous amount of hard work.

I ♥ Farren Ray.
