What will Rocca's last minute ailment be?

Post: # 811494Post Thinline »

Virus? Recurrence of ankle? Hamstring? Wisdom tooth? Indigestion?

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Seriously, much like Max Hudgton the emotion for Rocca at possibly missing the finals at the end of a good career would have been high. He will not be a late withdrawl as I dont beleive you would mess with the head of a guy in his position.

Maybe this year?

Looked like he was training with the knowledge that there was no way. Didn't appear to move well, fumbled, and looked unhappy. Or maybe it was file footage?

Oddly, Max looked pretty happy.

*Allegedly.

Think your reading a lot into it personally. Rocca doesnt look happy at training because he is training, it hurts. Max is a professional trying to stay upbeat for his team mates. Max knows that he is in the mix every week. Dawson&Clarke are not locks in their spot, Gilbert has had back issues and Blake has been in a modified training group several times.
He also has a good record on genuine spearheads like Fevola and may get back in if we come up against the Blues at any stage.

Maybe this year?

The ox has slowly become a patient. :)

They will not grow old, as those from more northern States grow old.
For them it will always be three-quarter-time, with the scores level
and the wind advantage in the final term.
